Last night I arrived home after a weeklong vacation with the family to find copies of Almost Amish waiting for me! Vacation... books... it doesn't get any better than that!

Love Amish novels, this one sound like a great read.
loved the excerpt! it stopped at exactly the right place - I _so_ want to turn the page and see what happens next!
I live near Amish Country in Ohio and love to visit...it's nice to fantasize about the Plain life but I am sure 1 day without TV would break me! Also, I loved old reality shows like "Frontier House"...this seems like the perfect mashup of both genres! Can't wait to read it.

I came here from Shelf Awareness, but I'm not sure if it's too late to enter for the chance to win a copy of Almost Amish. It looks really interesting and like something that I would enjoy! I am definitely a Type C parent -- I will help if necessary, but I figure I do enough things for them outside of the school so I hate to get roped into book fairs and field trips on top of everything else!
