My family and I found the very first copies of A Promise to Remember in Borders tonight. Woo hoo!!! My darling daughter Melanie was the first to spot it on the shelves--extra ice cream for her tonight!
That has to be the most exciting thing for an author!! I keep picturing the scene from the movie "That Thing You Do" when they all heard their song on the radio for the first time....is what what it's like???
Thanks to everyone for sharing the excitement with me. Deena- it felt very much like that scene in "That Thing You Do." Rose- YES!! I will have copies to sell at ACFW. Bethany House is shipping some directly there for me!! And Deb-- I'll be sitting in your morning track--can't wait.

My copies haven't even arrived yet! I was shocked (thrilled is perhaps the more accurate word choice) to find the books in stores
